Do Fractals Really Repeat? BTC 2014 Fractal in 2018?
Looking for repeating patterns I found this 2014 fractal making lower lows right before the 2015 upswing to new highs. For experimentation purposes, let's see if there are any similarities between the two trends and check for repeating patterns.

Well it is quite interesting to see how this fractal played out over the last few months with regards to timing of the BIG move down! What I like about this 2014 fractal is how it respects all the trend lines in 2018. Price action also hit in the ballpark, but really hard to judge if we'll see more down, based on the alignment. Other TA suggests we could easily see further downside at known supports levels of 3K 1K.
For comparisons, I've updated the fractal to align with what we can see today. Aside from two separate buy and sell pressures (red and green arrows) which caused the fractals to differ, it still matches the big dip and seems to aligns well with the trend lines showing through in 2018.
