Earlier it was reported that futures for bitcoin will appear on December 18, however, CBOE is now ahead of schedule and will launch them on December 10. Then he will launch the CME on December 18th.
The need for this idea is very clear. The fact is that you can hold a position in the long without a currency exchange, if you just store it on your wallet. But the position in short without the exchange will not hold. Of course, the currency exchange will send a thousand dollars to the client, there are no problems, but will she send him a billion? There are no agreements. For billions this, you know, is unacceptable. But the solution is found - to launch futures on serious reliable exchanges, which will give the contracts, and hackers are not a hindrance, and you can insure, if you want.
And then the scenario is this: the big players want to not only make money on past growth (and for this you have to sell previously bought), but also make money on the fall. It turns out very conveniently, fixing profit from long they will create to themselves profit from a short of futures.
Therefore, the appearance of futures is more a signal to a great fall, and not to growth. And it is unlikely to be profitable to drop the rate right after the futures appear. There are 2 reasons to wait and continue to grow. Firstly, in order to start short, it is desirable to have a suitable fundamental reason, and secondly, I did not understand why futures are necessary, and so "extra passengers" should first be thrown off the train by some false upward movement. So I think first we'll see the removal of shortistov in the footsteps of futures and only then the price will fall deeply and permanently.

The bitcoin will be that needle that will burst the dollar bubble. Remember this tweet.
