What is BACA? Elliot? Then, can you update for us with BACA position marked chart?

Break and close accross that spot.

Looks like a great setup after the weekly close over the bearish entrenchment lower line. I can see it going up to TG1 swiftly. (my target would be .8828 with a stop below .8480)

Hello alex.a - BACA was a term used by a group of traders in The Giraffe's Room (owner: Bubboo Bains) on Faceboot. BACA stands for (B)reaking (A)cross and (C)losing (A)cross, defining a particular price event across a defined level. Typically, this BACA concept would be used to signal a particular price action that would matter in terms of directional change.

In a BACA event, the trader receives a confirmation that an action needs to take place ONLY at the open of the NEXT bar/candle once a BACA has completed.

That's not meant to be a your stop-loss. Unless you can swing this type of account (institutional).

Hello @iefan - Here are a few simple rules to keep things clear to other traders:

1 - Be sure to always keep the letter/number immediately above/below the level you mean to define
2 - Consider the option of highlighting the 3-wave A-B-C that typically link Points 1 and 2, and Points 3 and 4.

Following the second rule above, you will see that points 2 or 4 do not necessarily need to be at the nadir of the correction's low, and it will definitely help keep the rationale of a wave confirmation going.

Besides the off-set points, looks like you got it.

Nice work!

IS this predictive model still valid because support 0.83575 indicated has taken away

19 DEC 2014 - Quick Note:

Chart defends its 0.81599 bullish line - Bullish targets remain valid, ... so does chart's bullish forecast.
