At times it makes no sense to analyse a market day by day or hour by hour.

You just need to wait.

The Market will show the further direction. The only thing you can have an eye on is if you see any set up. Right now this set up is positiv. Maybe it might change later or tomorrow. But for now it looks good for one more impressive move to the upside. And it´s not the only one. There are many more outside. Maybe they all might be wrong. But if not the next move will start to the upside.

Watch the DAX now to go back to 11.475. If ever this might occur than you have the perfect "Ramp" to shoot the DAX rocket straight up.

Keep an eye on FDGL: Lower yields might push the DAX higher.

US T-Bonds might be a diffrent story (rebalancing). I am not sure if this might be a countertrend only.

Germany´s DAX is following the US-Markets closely. To get the further DAX´s dircection it is good to keep an eye on the US-Stockmarkets. I follow fundmentals and also watching closely any kind of pattern. To make sure that there is one more uptrend to follow i look for any correcitve pattern and if they occour or wiped out by a strong move to the downturn in this case.

Quote: Investors favor stock funds over bonds, reversing 2016 trend

By Trevor Hunnicutt

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S.-based stock funds pulled in $11.8 billion in the week ended Dec. 28, data from Lipper showed on Thursday, ending 2016 with an enthusiasm for stocks that had been lacking for the better part of the year.

"We probably could see this trend continue through the end of the year and then into the inauguration," said David Mazza, head of ETF and mutual fund research at State Street Global Advisors. "Then, from there, it's what will those first 100 days look like."
