Anyone use the DXY for intermarket correlation? if so, is it useful? I'm fairly new to using intermarket correlation and I have been recommended to use EURCAD to form my analysis and biases in terms of correlations. However, lately I have been seeing a lot of traders use the DXY specifically to help with trading major pairs mainly EURUSD. If there is anyone that uses DXY, how do you use it exactly, and does it help you with biases in overall market directional movement?
