EBAY: Ideal Short Setup and Distribution

Momo slowing as distribution begins. Ideal entry is around 55, with short target between 53 and 52 contingent on downward momo and retest of leg start
Hello @infinite_margin: I noticed that your data is generated though BATS, whereas the EBAY chart I drew has WIDELY different data generated through NASDAQ, which also yielded to opposite targets. Do you thing your analysis would change if your chart was drawn using NASDAQ data? Just wondering - David

Not sure what was so different. I looked at your chart and the data looks the same. I do all my analysis on my own platform first, so no I don't see it changing. The 61 print is not an intraday print. The weekly shows a massive distribution range from December 2012. Until we get a close above 58 on the weekly, I'm not looking to do anything but scalp.

Hi @infinite_margin!

The peak at $61.21 on January 22nd on my chart was the main stark difference compared to your chart. Instead, in your chart, the peak stops at 55.89 around January 22/23 (in fact, 2nd on my chart, but 23rd in yours).

Indeed, if your analysis is off of a separate platform, then my comment is a moot point.

Hey David, I believe that spike at 61 was pre-market on earnings. I don't think the BATS function charted it because it wasn't intraday.
