I just draw the polylines over the channels and then clone them. They are placed to show the tendency to hit them at certain levels. The blue line is just the midline of the channels (it comes with the channel tool).

The angle of the last channel is not necessarily set. It could turn down more. It's the difficulty with finding the proper set point (lead point).
Additional tools are sometimes needed to determine a general direction, but it's accurate when the LEAD point is correct.
