Bearish Gartley Short...retrace ahead

FX:EURUSD   Euro Fx/U.S. Dollar
1809 11 19
I'm short the currency pair again.

Only aber dabei with this pattern is the long wicks at the 88.6 retrace.
Some gyration will possibly be happening here at the 1.12200ish handle before the cart targets pan out.

Fear not

A rebound in U.S. economic activity with the start of the second quarter could provide a gold chance to long the U.S. dollar. Starting from tomorrows Manufacturing PMI... Good luck..

Stop hit then down.
Why not apply EW to this one?
I see you include some profiles in your charts from time to time.
There's a POC or mode above, they act like magnetic levels as well as s/r.
I know this is hindsight, just curious about the reasoning.

Btw, I see now that it hit your first tp. (I recall seeing Thomas Bulkowski mentioning his testing showed 94% of these hit that B point tp).

From time to time I see a pattern playing out and rush to publish it ....so as many as possible can take advantage of it.
When I do not apply EW - it's due to not having looked at an instrument with EW-eyes - only harmonic pattern. I see it as being honest in my charting - only apply in what I can agree to. I agree that EW and harmonic patterns compliment each other and do use it alot.
It's also a matter of becoming more skilled as a trader along the way and incorporate more and more knowledge into the chart. I see as: The more different techniques adding up the higher possibility of the pattern playing out. But it also takes time - which you not always have. Then I stick to what I see. here and now. So in short... it depends of time and be honest in charting.

Great stuff!
I concur, having a host of techniques is a strong signal.
Sometimes a contrarian one as well if it's 'too obvious' ;)
