when Up/Down volume pattern indicates that the stock is under distribution, expect MACD to follow suit which is now a bullish zone though we did not pull out in this chart. $FB tried to breakout with a relatively strong volume on September 2nd but did not have follow through next day which even printed a scary candle with a solid volume. Last few weeks specially from Mid August the stock was under heavy distribution where pundits let small guys to replace them. The stock may be strong fundamentally but weak on valuation, still WS can hype to push it above 100 next 12 months provided that market extends current bull momentum which is at risk for reversal.
