Check out my suggestions in ideas. I mention proportional boxes tool that can be dragged from the corners and the sides, so 8 total positions to size from. Kyplot, a program I have, is where I found these out. There is a jpeg to go with my suggestion. I also have a group of videos on youtube "best stockmarket charts". The video "28 stockmarket charts", goes through all my ideas, including diagonal grids, channels with the same VERTICAL POST distance, repeating angles, ellipses ( that are actually circles when scaled right).
I like your ideas. You look like you know geometry. I never took it in school (ages ago).
I would like to learn how to use the x,a,b,c,d tool just to check it out, but every search I do gets the wrong results it seems.
I subscribed to you channel. See what else you come up with.
Interesting idea with the boxes. I actually posted some similar thoughts in ideas with proportional boxes. What I use instead of a box is circles for radius distances. Unfortunately, circles don't work unless the chart is scaled right, otherwise most of the distances are usually elliptical and inconsistent. What rescaling the chart does once you find some ellipse distances of the SAME size that work, then simply turn on autoscale and zoom in and out until the shape becomes circular. Laying the projection tool over top of the circle approximation, shows whether it's aspect is 1 (a circle) or close enough to use for RADIUS distances from one center...so this means that regardless of whether a point is at a 15 degree angle off to the right or a 75 degree angle almost straight, the now converted ellipse into circle gives an accurate RADIUS measure to be REUSED. That's my take on it. I show this example with EURUSD in ellipses, then converted to circles.
Like your charts. Don't have a clue how to use harmonics bats wings though. lol
