SP500 - IMPULSION ON THIN ICE - CLIMAX

FX:SPX500   S&P 500 index of US listed shares
403 4 5

So far the support at 1995 held.

There's a possibility of 4 weeks climax to 2130ish.

After that (if happens) the market will likely be in corrective mode.

The Key pivotal support will be the region 1900/1960. Then 1800 and then 1650ish.

Note:
- Slow is strong, fast is weak...
- i.e. if spx             goes to 2130 early in feb15 it is most likely over.
- if the market wants to go much higher, it needs to change regime and be slow so the limiting trendline does not retain the progress (not what we have right now and I dont see the regime changing out of magic, possible though)
Did you notice that every time about few days before morons from FMOC about to give speech, market just tumble?

My humble opinion is: participants over anticipate those meetings and the market gets out of steam too early which creates an air pocket earlier than the meeting... I am not sure if we can build a pattern out of it, do you think so? it clearly occurred in the past yes.

I really think that is where each situation is different depending on the absolute level, config, vol etc.. at 2090 2 weeks ago, i was very comfortably short... knowing my risk was pain moves to 2110... I felt that nothing, no annoucement could create a vertical break. Although theoretically possible, we play stats and the stats were not good for longs.

Now, playing stats, Longs have a little edge versus shorts from here... I would not be entirely comfortable on longs and would watch it very closely.. below 1980, it becomes icy...
