It is about to break . Click on the pinned post! BTW I do not even trade this , I have no knowledge of any fundamental and I am clueless as to what makes up the S&P             500! it is all about wave analysis.

Comment: I am also clueless of how the markets will react to news events. Here is the good thing about that I don't pretend to know ( NO ONE HERE KNOWS) I do what I am a master at. I am always amazed by those who assumed they know. Want to know what is the makeup of S&P500 just google it . Only a really "not so smart person" can read my post and don't understand the context of it .

It is a break up out of a Bull Flag/Correction. However, as Anil always says, wait for a consolidation to complete to confirm it will go up before buying. This may thus still come back down....

With log scale, the picture looks very different... And considering the price range being analysed, the log scale seems more appropriate... This comment is also intended to be completely wave analysis based. But I hope you're right!

Your trend trajectory for the S&P 500 looks like my idea from before the crash (which became true):

China crash, Greece almost out of cash - A bearish 2015 scenario

When the current S&P 500 uptrend started three months ago I refreshed this idea from May 2015 with a new chart. Which is also similar to you idea:

S&P 500 bulls need to break and hold above the 1968 resistance

Break to the upside or downside? I don't think it'll break to the upside.
