SPY: Trade Set Up

AMEX:SPY   SPDR S&P 500 ETF TRUST
Practical.
Comment:
This trade idea is based on the high probability of the current support level holding again like it previously did about 7 to 9 times. If it breaks then it breaks and we'll be going for another set up.
Comment:
The law of non-contradiction. After one side has been tried the action switches to the other side. It's a never-ending search for a chance to break through a wall. I've no idea why it's imperative, but that's what we see on the charts.

I'm attracted to creativity and in conflict with analytics. What is there to analyze? I even hate the word.

But creativity: the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. Very cool.

I'm most of the time both long and short in the options trades. It's heavy artillery. The futures are more like a sniper's rifle - a precision tool. It's cool :)

Full disclosure: I'm both long and short 2:1 with options at this juncture. No need to get excited.

if you didn't get the drop (I didn't) here's a chance to make it up:

There was nothing in the volume structure to indicate the drop, so I missed it, not a big deal. I think this dip will be bought again.

Most important thing - I forgot we don't trade this Friday and nobody even sent me a PM.
SPX does not usually get sold into a long weekend either. I'm going to stay net long over the weekend. Have a warm day everyone :)

As always they're hiding the first trades (conspiracy? lol). In any case I think the pros are buying for a bounce next week.
Comment:
The big picture on the daily is pretty bearish but I don't think we'll have a straight drop from here.
