My own RUBY settings, simple strategy;

- On ascending green area; buy in the green, sell in the free area

- On descending green area; short in the free area, cover in the green
Dear Leclaireur, What a great chart! Can't wait to see how it all works out. Sincerely, Beauty

Thank you! No need to wait for that, it already works as you can see from zooming out and sliding back to wherever you want. It works already, 1 st line give you a clue as to where to buy and sell short term if you are into that. 2nd line gives you a safer place to buy underneath for mid-term and Area gives you the longer term trend and larger spread for buying

Best place buying being beneath 3 indcators in a green area ascending trend or neutral trend while shorting on green area descending above 3 indicators

Marking your charts 100 to 150 times should give some great data. I am happy to craft my charts alongside. Sincerely, Beauty

Well, yes this seems to be good for markets with relatively long lasting trends. In markets with often changing directions it won't work. I wonder how your strategy will work when we entry into a sideward market of the S&P 500. Nevertheless the greenpainting of the EMA 60 helps to identify the trend and then to adopt your strategy to the behaviour of the market.
Good idea. Good luck!

Not much harder with a sideward market, once you know its sideward, it will dip beneath the green area making it the place to buy and then will go much higher than the green are where you sell. Already seen it work on volatile stocks. I'll publish a stock chart so you can see.

Maybe this is a very stupid question but what is RUBY? Can't find it on google. Great chart anyway!

RUBY is that set of indicators on this chart that we created with BeautyBubble on google hangouts. You can join us when you see BeautyBubble putting the hangout link in the chat.

Where in the Free area you will sell ? When MACD crosses bearish?
Reply
When MACD reaches about 4 obviously.

Price always comes back to moving averages so there is no magic nor is it a supremely accurate trading signal I had this charting style using a VWAP area(superior to a moving average area) a month before RUBY was revealed and so she is not a "community Indicator" as you say BeautyBubble. Furthermore my lower indicators are superior to Ruby's. Enjoy your 15 minutes(or is it seconds these days?) of fame Scout (French translation of Leclaireur).
