I am not gonna talk about why I think Tesla is going down short term, I want to talk more about why I will not be buying unless it goes down.
My Tesla budget is $10,000
@ $800 a share I can buy 12 shares.
@ $700 14 shares
@ $600 16 shares
@ $500 20 shares.
I believe Tesla has the potential to be worth $3000-$4000 by 2025. Based on that stock evaluation.. I believe there is about a 50% chance Tesla reaches those levels.
12 shares would be worth $36,000-$48,000.
20 shares would be worth $60,000-$80,000.
I also believe there is a 50% chance Tesla is worth less than $800 a share in 5 years. People are underestimating the damage done by the corona virus to the global economy.
@ $500-$550 a share I think Tesla is worth taking a long position. the $3000-$4000 evaluation assumes Tesla keeps growing at a rate of at least 25% year over year which is much less than some predict. Any price below $500 is a slam dunk in my opinion. The risk reward at that price is very attractive.
