Hello Jack! Are 1H pin bars just as effective as 4H or 1D pin bars? Thanks

Im not speaking for Jack but this trade will either be a winner or loser. Pin bars or not. That's a fact.

lol. what else could a trade be? winner or loser or.... ?

pin bars, like nearly everything you can take into account for trading decisions get more powerful the bigger the timeframe. read: pinbars more relyable at 4H or D or Month like it is very much more easy to do wave analysis on daily timeframe or a MACD indicator strategy is showing better results on daily...
speaking of "effective" the term is simply wrong because the pin bar _effects_ a sh1t. market _shows_ a pinbar, thats all.

It will depend on the situation, in the above case the pin bar slightly penetrated previous support so this makes the 1hr pin bar more significant. 4hr or daily can be more significant but always.

totally agree. the penetrated the support and rally back all the way makes this pin bar more powerful

Until now the price cannot break the trandline since May 31, possibly a chance to go short here.

Crappy analysis, but very well spotted the new trend.
When managing money there´s no space for SL, here the probabilities were quite high.
And the new trend has not matured yet, hence fallible.

what do you mean by new stop loss? close half position, rest just hold

Why you don't move your stop loss just to be a little bit in profit ? So you are sure that you don't lose.

If you don't move your stop loss, that means that you think it can still go down a lot and be a good trade ? I hope you understand me English is not my main langage :)

if you move sl too early. u will be shaken out. i prefer to take partial profit at tp1, and then move sl to B.E

anyway i closed all my positions in any currency pair yesterday evening because i dont want to get into some brexit trouble. i dont trust my broker. i would guess that i would lose on winning trades and lose in trades in minus and some sl levels not been filled and all this still to ripp me off.
