Well china is world largest importer of petroleum, with reverses of 1.5% of the world oil, which able china to last for another 5.4years based on their consumption.
China's consumption is a strong positive linear upslope, mainly purchasing oil from Iran/Oman/Iraq .
All trump have to do is take control of the oil in these countries, tightening the supply to china, since its predicted we will ran out of oil in less than 60 years.
With super high oil prices, china weak currency will suffer the impact.
Note that US is also a big producer of its own oil.
Controlling the oil market, slapping china with taxes on oil, this will indeed counter hard on china's economic war.
That being said, in the next 1-2years we could see history high prices on oil.
Time for trump to deploy more troops to these countries.
