Today, Wednesday 5-13-2020 The market was down during the regular trading session. The VIXY went up $3.03 or 10.25%. Now you have the VXX, UVXY and VIXY this is what I call protection trades. You have to check all 3 stocks yourself, I normally wait until the market settles and start looking @ 9:45 am EDT. There are times when only 2 out of 3 will go green, today they all went green BUT BEWARE of the difference in the BID/ASK price. I can't tell any trader what to do but tomorrow if the market is down I am using an expiration date 5/22/2020 on these trades or go farther if you wish.
REALITY CHECK
All 3 Trades went up a bit in the extended sessions vixy went up .42 but so did many stocks, actually VXX looks the same it's up $3.75
