NYSE:VALUA   VALUE LINE ARITHMETIC INDEX
11
The total number of companies in the Value Line Composite Index hovers near 1650-1675, and is composed of the same companies as The Value Line Investment Survey®, excluding closed-end funds. The Value Line Composite Index has two forms, the Value Line Geometric Composite Index or the Value Line Arithmetic Composite Index

Many reports said that Warren Buffett, the greatest einstein in investment subscribes to Value Line for investment information

All companies in the Value Line Composite Index are publicly listed in ASE, NYSE, Nasdaq & TSX. The number of companies in the Value Line Composite Index fluctuates based on factors including: the addition or delisting of the companies on the exchanges themselves, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, and the coverage decisions made by Value Line for the Value Line Composite Index. Value Line’s decisions as to which companies to include are undertaken with the intention to create a broad representation of the North American equity market.

Accordingly, Arithmetic index is disproportionately impacted by small, and microcap stocks, while Geometric index (which i will post below) matters more for the big shots.

What i am more interested in is the technical aspect of the channel (will insert a zoom in version below)

Price is very very near to channel top again this time with bearish divergence lurking on
Comment:
