After recommending and buying WFM last October around 28 I am selling Monday at the open and recommend holders of WFM to do the same. I don't believe there will be another offer because the so called likely buyers, WallMart, Target etc. don't need the retail locations, Amazon does. Amazon gains the brick and mortar footprint that they need. Therefore anyone with hundreds or thousands of stores isn't going to pay upwards of $15billion just for the name and customer list. The only possible other bid would be from another online company with no retail brick and mortar footprint. I don't believe Alibaba or Google or some other internet giant would be interested. I am pretty sure this is a fair value given the competition and maturity of Whole Foods concept which lost a lot of it's uniqueness. Sell Monday especially if still above 42.
