Momentum for this coin has been silent and deadly. The technology is improving everyday; especially with the improved public parameter ceremony and developers from other projects taking part in the ceremony, it seems as though zcash is building on top of its already impressive fundamentals. There are a lot of people talking about how zero-knowledge proofs can improve the computational stress put on blockchains and potentially even solve scaling issues.
J.P Morgan (love them or hate them...i actually don't know anyone who loves them) has been a cornerstone in the modern American financial system and i suspect things will not change any time soon. JP Morgan is one of the biggest players in the enterprise ethereum alliance and as far as i know has thrown a significant amount of support behind this project. Ethereum adding ZK-SNARKS functionality to the much anticipated Metropolis release adds to a hunch of mine where zcash is the primary method of payment or money on the ethereum network (as ETH is limitless currently).
