Btc can stop trending at any time. Price actually hitting the resistance highlighted in the chart isn't a guaranteed thing, though it will act as a significant pivot. Most likely price will be rejected off of the 1.25 standard deviation of the longest over expanded period (which at this time is the 530 period.)
