Gold slowing at Thursdays POCI have been testing Tradingviews volume profiles with Gold and some of the levels are so accurate. Using spot market data, it was a bit of a surprise, but a welcomed surprise it has been.
We can see today's intraday longs tapping straight into a naked POC left behind from the sharp sell off on Thursday.
I have yet to test this is in other markets however Gold has proven really quite reliable utilising the entire Value area from the fixed period profiles.
Anyway - watch out for Gold bears to take control once again from 2360 - 2370 once again.
I am looking for a 1000pip drop near enough back to 2275. I will keep you all updated.
The price fell despite strong NVDA earnings. What's the cause?Nasdaq Falls 2.0% Amid Investor Uncertainty and Fed Caution
The Nasdaq fell by 2.0% on a subdued Thursday as investors adjusted their portfolios amid shifting market sentiment. The trading session was marked by an uneasy atmosphere following the release of the Federal Reserve's latest meeting minutes, which indicated that central bankers are in no hurry to reduce interest rates .
This cautious stance from the Fed has been a key factor in supporting the recent upward trend in stocks.
Technical Analysis:
The Nasdaq is poised to test the 18,715 level before likely retreating to 18,600. A bearish trend will be confirmed if the price stabilizes below 18,600, potentially driving it down further to 18,435. Conversely, a bullish scenario will emerge if the price breaks above the 18,660 threshold.
pivot line: 18710
Resistance Price: 18790, 18920, 19100
Support price: 18550, 18440, 18250
Its range for Today will be between Support 18250 and Resistance 18790
SMA- earnings play- a beat with a drop for a pop LONGSMA reported today with about a 2% drop - while traders responded with a 8% drop. Everybody
especially auto mechanics love their stuff. So were they looking for more? It is hard to say.
Idea is on the chart. I am looking for a recovery in a reversion to the mean. It looks like
it's underway. For those familiar with volume profile analysis and trading the best buy short
was upon the drop out of the high volume area ( lower zagged blue line at 9:45 AM EST) and
the best exit was the transient cross over and above the Hull 35 moving average at 12:15.
This would have been a monster trade of about 600% if the strike 280 expiring 2/16 was taken
about 9:45 AM and closed at 12:!5 PM; the price of about $150 for the single contract would
have yielded $1300 and netted $1150 for those 2.5 hours for an hourly rate of over $400.
Enough said about the short, this idea is about the backside. The stock shares trade is what is
is. The options trade in my opinion only is a call contract striking $ 270 just under the 0.5 fib
retracement is currently priced at about $530. If price gets above $270 or even gets over the
$280 fib level line in the next week, the return again would be 300-600%. I am taking this call
options trade, I will enter on a pivot low of the day on the share price chart. I'll set a stop loss
of 20% meaning about $100 is at risk. 3X the premium is about $ 1600 so the reward to risk
is 16. Managing with TradingViews handy alerts on the stock chart for moving average
inflections and cross-overs as well as MACD line and signal intersections should take about
one hour of combined time in a week. I consider the potential gain to be
excellent for the anticipated expense of time.
GBPUSD Quarterly Bull Rally Resumes To New Monthly HighsI am currently long on this pair.
I got in earlier today during late Asian session at 1.2468 so I am already up +1R but due to TradingViews “House Rules”, I must put a later entry than this real-time post so a solid second entry would be once price breaks above todays current daily highs around 1.2489.
I am going for at least +3R but am willing to take this as far as +6R (“R” is representation of a fixed risk I take, so 1R = 1% risk).
Trailing stops will be used along the way with future updates.
The pattern that triggered me in along with the solid context was a northbound trend continuation.
The prior wave was strong and we’ve seen an acceleration in buying activity in the last 2-3 rallies up.
I will get out if price breaches 1.24548 lows because then the trend will be in conflict of either reversing or going into some extended chop.
RNDRUSD short positionOn the chart we can see a rising wedge formation. Our strategy is enter a short position when the price retest the resistance line.
We can see an on-going distribution as there is a lower highs construction.
Stop loss: 2.957 USD
Target: 2.021 USD
Entry: 2.785 USD

BTCUSDT (Hater gonna Hate)I have warned you. Some funny guys come and insulted me and said my predictions were crap.
Look at the date I posted and 99% of my predictions were right short-term and longterm. Do not pretend like you know how to look at renko chart, I am trading on a traditional renko chart. Simple switching to the Renko chart doesn't mean you are in traditional mode. So go and screw yourself for not understanding the chart. Too bad Tradingviews couldn't do the replay of the renko chart so you may not be able to see how the brick move unlike the Japanese candle chart, you can see the replay.
Try to observe all my Renko box size, I am using traditional and it needs to have calculations to have the correct box size. If you think, just switching to Renko chart ATR14 work? Go and learn first.
My Previous Post ( This is for intermediate-term )- My idea no change :
interest rates and housing Australia.ECONOMICS:AUMR
A visualization of how house prices react against interest rates rises other than the obvious divergence where rates get cheap and people will spend more.
I haven't made any predictions, there are a lot of moving parts in the system at the moment.
CPI being a big one on everyone lips, affordability, availability, sustainability, buzz words right ha
A lot of people got money really cheap and after the 5 year fixed terms what is the flow on effect, have people stopped excessive spending and in turn the is a down turn in GDP jobs but CPI still climbs.
Will tenants pay for all the rate hikes if the houses are not worth it? will people try and interest only? left with the prospect of selling will prices go too low while we are still in need of more houses to curb demand?
ordinary interest increases appeared to be up to 60% over time and we are looking at a event where we are already 3x that.
I used info from another chart to have more complete data for the interest, I should have done the house prices too. ( If someone knows how to import stuff like this speak up, that was a ball ache)
Surprised tradingviews data was not complete.
