The EMA is used to spot trends and determine whether they are uptrending or downtrending. It is also known as a retracement. It's a popular strategy because markets don't always trend upward straight from the start, but rather, take rest periods before continuing their trend. An uptrend is defined as higher highs and lower lows than a downtrend. Therefore, a breakout is a good time to buy.

☝️ Long Entry
1. Price is trending above the 3 EMA’s.
2. Price pulls back into the 25 or 50 EMA .
3. Price does not close below the 100 EMA .
3. Price closes above the 25 EMA .

👇 Short Entry
1. Price is trending below the 3 EMA’s.
2. Price pulls back into the 25 or 50 EMA .
3. Price does not close above the 100 EMA .
3. Price closes below the 25 EMA .
