Specifically, ARKQ's managers appear interested in specific technologies with transformative businesses in automation, energy, and artificial intelligence. Because of its thematic approach, pure-play portfolio implementation is more difficult. The fund uses its own internal research and analysis in selecting companies that capitalize on disruptive innovation that enable development in the markets they operate.
