CLIA utilizes the EU Taxonomy framework for defining environmentally sustainable economic activities. A similar methodology is used to identify companies globally and in sectors considered to be critical to climate change mitigation. Firms must have greater than 50% of their revenue derived from and/or greater than 50% of their CAPEX or OPEX spent on climate change mitigation activities. Companies meeting these criteria undergo fundamental analysis based on positioning of decarbonization to the companys business model, competitive positioning, review of financials, and technical analysis of the stock price. Stocks must have a risk-adjusted target price that is significantly higher than the current stock price. The sub-adviser selects a narrow portfolio of 35-50 US-listed stocks or ADRs. Weighting is based on the level of conviction for appreciation. The fund does not disclose its holdings on a daily basis, instead providing a verified intraday indicative value. When traders have less information regarding the underlying holdings, they tend to charge more to trade the ETF shares. This may be an additional cost that investors have to assume.
