KHYB actively invests in high income producing debt securities, primarily high yield and of any maturity, by governments and corporations from the Asia-Pacific region, including emerging and developed countries. Nikko Asset Management Americas Inc., the sub-advisor, uses top-down macro research and bottom-up credit research to construct its portfolio, using a proprietary process that combines quantitative and qualitative factors to assess an issuers credit profile, along with an assessment of a securitys value and relative value compared to other similar securities. KHBY may invest in other investment companies, including ETFs, and derivatives. The fund could also engage in securities lending. Prior to Aug. 1, 2021, the fund was known as KraneShares CCBS China Corporate High Yield Bond USD ETF that tracked the Solactive USD China Corporate High Yield Bond Index and traded under the ticker KCCB. Before Nov. 28, 2021, the fund was named KraneShares Asia Pacific High Yield Bond ETF.
