KORU is an aggressive, one-day bet on South Korean equities. The fund seeks to provide 3x the performance of the MSCI Korea 25/50 Index. Samsung Electronics makes up a big chunk of the index, so any large swings in the electronics giants stock will likely be amplified in KORUs returns. The fund rebalances its leverage on a daily basis, so KORU is strictly meant to be a short-term trading vehicleif held for longer periods, the compounding effects of the daily rebalance could lead to significant differences from the expected returns path.
