The security is being delisted. The last day of trading on an exchange is March 13, 2024. DBGR is one of the few choices for currency-hedged exposure to German stocks. The fund specifically holds EWG, a broad, market-like basket of large- and mid-cap German securities, along with currency forwards to mitigate risks associated with the euro currency fluctuations relative to the USD. In employing this hedging strategy, the index sells the EUR forward contracts at a one-month forward rate. As such, its returns can differ greatly from unhedged peer funds. Over the preceding years, the strengthening USD has helped the fund beat out all of its peers, but this is in no way guaranteed going forward. The index rebalances on a quarterly basis.
