EuropaCorp SA engages in the film industry. It operates through the following segments: Production and Distribution of Films, Production and Distribution of TV Films and Series, Events, and Others. The Production and Distribution of Films segment includes all operations involving films such as distribution to theaters, video release, licensing and partnerships, and line production. The Distribution of TV Films and Series segment covers all operations for TV films and series carried out by its subsidiaries. The Events segment comprises all operations to run events inside or outside La Cité du Cinéma and corresponds to the activities of Blue Event. The Others segment refers to all related activities not directly connected to the screening of films in theaters or their broadcasting on TV. The company was founded by Luc Besson on January 15, 1992 and is headquartered in Saint-Denis, France.
