It operates through the following segments: Palm, Rubber, Tea, Bananas and Horticulture, and Corporate. The Palm segment includes all palm products, including palm kernels and palm kernel oil, both in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. The Rubber segment covers different types of rubber produced and sold by the group. The Tea segment produces the “cut, tear, curl” tea from SIPEF in Indonesia. The Bananas and Horticulture segment sells bananas and flowers originating from Ivory Coast. The Corporate segment manages fees received from non-group companies, commissions charged on sea freight, and other commissions which are not covered by the sales contract. The company was founded on June 14, 1919 and is headquartered in Schoten, Belgium.
