House Foods Group, Inc. provides management support for its domestic and overseas companies which are in the food business. It operates through the following segments: Spice, Seasoning, and Processed Food Business, Health Food Business, International Food Business, Restaurant Business, and Other Food Related Business. The Spice, Seasoning, and Processed Food Business segment manufactures and sells spices, seasonings, and prepared food. The Health Food Business segment provides health food products and beverages. It also deals with direct retail sales. The International Food Business segment markets food products and handles overseas businesses. The Restaurant Business segment operates restaurants inside and outside of Japan. The Other Food Related Business segment includes the manufacture and sale of prepared dishes. It also covers food import and food product analysis. The company was founded by Seisuke Urakami on November 11, 1913 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
