NASDAQ: Channel Up topped. Opportunity for short term selling.Nasdaq turned bearish on its 1H technical outlook (RSI = 38.742, MACD = -3.920, ADX = 40.192) as it crossed under the 1H MA50. This comes after almost an exact touch at the top of the September Channel Up and while the 1D timeframe has gone from bullish to almost neutral. The last two rejections at the top targeted at least the 1.236 Fibonacci level on the pullback. That is what we aim for on the short term (TP = 20,250). NAS100...Ever The Bullish Instrument Part 3This week we are back in our favorite consolidation Zone...Right above the 78%. As you should have seen by now even with last week's sell off, the price only created a new HL on the daily timeframe before shooting right back above the previous HH set on October 14. This confirms my bullish bias, that although the market is consolidating, the moves still favor the bulls as the trend is always your friend. This type of movement however, does create opportunities for sellers also as you would have seen from last week's move, however they should be traded only with the proper experience. If you are not comfortable identifying the start and end of a bearish retracement, your best bet is to wait for your largest HL and keep buying the trend for the HL's to the HH's. For this week: 1. Continue trading the HL's to the HH's 2. Continue to learn the correct keys for the certification moves for more swing trade entries. 3. Remember Mondays, Tuesdays, and sometimes Wednesdays are the days the market takes to Create it's upper and lower zones and Thursdays to Friday's complete the current trend moves. NASDAQ Ready for an impressive finish of the year.Nasdaq (NDX) is coming off a 4H Golden Cross, the same kind if formed on November 08 2023, straight after the bottom of the 18-month Channel Up. As the 1D MA200 (red trend-line) has been in strong support of this Channel Up, the index is now on a similar Bullish Leg (blue Channel) as the one that started 1 year ago. We are at the stage were after a roughly +20% rise from the bottom, the short-term Bullish Megaphone tested and held the 4H MA200 (orange trend-line), which based on the January 2024 fractal, could initiate the 2nd Phase of the Bullish Leg. This suggests a consolidation phase, where prices may move sideways as buyers and sellers are in balance. Potential Decline , A possible decline could reach the demand line at 20,146. This level could act as a support, as buyers may step in if prices drop here. The analysis indicates an overall bullish pressure, as long as prices remain above the demand line. However, yesterday's reports from Microsoft (MSFT) and Meta Platforms (META) indicated that AI, as a factor influencing stock prices, may be shifting from a bullish to a bearish driver. The issue lies in the rising expenses that these tech giants are incurring in the race for leadership in this area. Earlier today, we noted that due to increasing expenditures, MSFT shares fell by roughly 4%, despite a strong earnings report. A similar trend is seen in Meta Platforms' stock: actual earnings per share and gross revenue exceeded analysts’ expectations. However, due to high capital investments, META shares in pre-market trading today are around 3% lower than yesterday's opening. However, following the reports from Microsoft and Meta Platforms, the index value has sharply dropped from the upper half of the channel to its lower boundary. → The pattern of peaks A-B-C-D shows that bulls find it difficult to maintain momentum: each successive peak only slightly exceeds the previous one, followed by a decline. Considering this information, it is reasonable to assume that the current ascending channel may be unable to drive the price to the July 11 peak and could be breached by bears. Additionally, the formation of a bearish channel is not out of the question (its preliminary outline is shown in red). Unbelievable Opportunity: Nasdaq100I'm Sharing with you what I see. The lower low in the 30-minute time frame is still in development (that will be wave 4). It will not go down past 20,124. Wait for the 30-minute time frame to reverse and position yourself. We will see 20600-800 very soon. This is a good buying opportunity and then we will short it again. Another scenario: if it goes past 20,124 but will not break the Oct 24 low, then we will go back to wave 3 and still go back to 20600 to 20800.
