Avanceon Ltd. is a holding company, which engages in the provision of industrial automation, process control and systems integration solutions, to trade in products of automation and control equipment, and provide related technical services. It operates through the following segments: After Marketing Support (AMS), Core Business, Manufacturing and Assembling, Specialized Business, Engineering Services, and Middle East. The AMS segment is involved in services such as technical support and service level agreements and related spares. The Core Business segments include Application Based Solutions, Systems, and Products. The Specialized Business segment refers to the Energy Management System and High End Solutions. The Engineering Services segment consists of business includes revenues from man-hours charged to Avanceon FZE and Avanceon Automation and Control WLL for in-house engineering and development of Human Machine Interfaces, logic design, and development of engineering control mechanisms, and secondment of Avanceon Limited's engineers to Avanceon FZE and Avanceon Automation and Control WLL project sites for installation, commissioning and post implementation support of systems. The Middle East segment focuses on the core business, specialized business, and engineering services to UAE, Qatar, Pakistan and European Union countries. The company was founded by Bakhtiar Hameed Wain and Bob Zeigenfuse in 1984 and is headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan.
