JAPAN FOOD&LIQUOR ALLIANCE INC. is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of food and alcohol. The Company has three business segments. The Food and Alcohol segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of soy sauce, seasonings, sake (Japanese alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice), pickles and beverages. The Imported Food and Alcohol Sales segment is engaged in the import and sale of French food materials and wines. The Others segment is engaged in the Company group management, as well as the manufacture and sale of food and alcohol. As of September 30, 2014, the Company had 10 consolidated subsidiaries and three associated companies.
