I think going off an EWT analysis of the 5 & 15 minutes chart of the DXY; it's the start of the 5th wave going up. So this is a pretty short term idea. EURUSD is resisting a lot, but it's going to gradually go downwards probably over the next 2 to 3 hours? After that we'll see a retracement upwards, probably not as sharp as the last few days, but it'll go up...
See chart ♥ I think it'll go up gently! So a pretty longer-term trade to hold over a few hours (maybe start of next week?)
Looks like the DXY might be coming back strong by mid next week? Going off a very hard to define Elliott Wave analysis. I do need the DXY to be quite strong as I got caught out with a couple short positions last week; so let's see how we do! I learnt that September is more active in the EU so who knows, maybe the EU will build some massive strength and head...
I'm not even sure I'm doing this correctly, but the Fib Ratio Extension seems to show some really escalated levels! I thought I'd just publish this to see if it works. PLEASE NOTE - I'm very new to Forex trading 😅 - and I'm still learning a lot! So I thought I'd try to use the Elliott Wave Theory to see if I can vaguely forecast where things are going. My...
I ended up finding an exit point on my Long position at the Green Arrow! However I feel the indicator should've updated the 5th wave shape to the orange dotted line instead of where it is now on the chart...? It was really tricky finding the right moment to get out and the waves kept changing a lot so it made it quite stressful! But it feels like this in...
Damn, this wasn't quite the uptick I was hoping for and I missed a long exit because of it! The timing is definitely the most difficult thing - applying the analysis was easy, but finding the moment to get out of a trade is so difficult...! What a spicy 12 hours it's been though!
So the graph seems to be following pretty accurately the EWT forecast! It's been a challenge just waiting to use this analysis as it's my first time - and figuring out the waves, and how long the times work with the forming of especially Wave 4. Now for the more interesting part - following along and seeing how far the peak of "Wave 5" goes for. I've attached...
Promising! It's looking promising! This is an update from last idea's graph - the waves had flattened a little based off the longer time for Wave 4 to form, but so far this has been a pretty good indicator!
