Ye let me break free of that.
It just held me back lol.
I did make some progress (10% in a month) but that is the least I made in 2018.
There are 3 reasons I was slowed down:

1- My strategy was not complete, I was not sure when to go against the trend (now I know), not 100% sure about exact entries profit etc. Had a few more examples to analyse, much more calculations made to do. I spend dozen of hours making stats and estimations and checking exemples on the chart AFTER I started the challenge I lacked alot of info and I had not calculated everything, thought I was almost done but nope. Just not fully ready.

2- I guess I care what people think? Maybe? Did not want to get unlucky and eat the 1% proba loss and look dumb... I hold back and kept going lower and lower. Makes sense to go small while I am not sure about my system, but I think it's also because I posted everything publicly. Wups.

3- I feel trading got boring ... it's summer . Oh and maybe the new 400IQ regulations make volatility and liquidity fall too as gamblers looking for extremely high and quick returns will leave and rather go to lottery. There is a research "During periods with unusually large lottery jackpot, individual investor trading declines."*

I don't want gamblers to give their money to stupid lotteries. Gogo give serious mathematicians your money.

If I get very successful I might or might not post it... Don't want beggars to show at my doorstep but would like to share.

** If trading really gets boring this July, think of taking a break.
Celebrate the profit you made shorting BitcoinreKt.
Go on holidays, give back to the community, help some poor homeless crypto bagHODLers.

The markets will still be around when you come back in 1-2 months (right? Regulators? Right?)

I am just going to walk around holding a glass of champagne & wearing a tshirt of a bear holding a glass of champagne.
Should I go to the next crypto convention dressed like this? XD
And record it all upload to youtube of course.

Forex brokers CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
They will make you lose and claim system error.
They won't let you withdraw.
If you win too much they will close your account.

Only way to make it work was to send a small amount of money and use high leverage but stupid monkey regulators decided otherwise.

How stupid can their rules get.

I wonder if IG can be trusted... low spread but min order is 10 lots if I am correct...

The only way to sleep at night is trade through a bank but without an 8 figures account at least you can forget it.

I am sure IB are trustworthy but "2 years experience" -.- Well at least we know for sure they are not hunting noobs but rather winners.

I wish I had a mentor for this stuff.
Dan from TCG uses IB and fidelity I think hes doing fine.
Are there similar people in FX?

I think I have to check every few hours my shady broker did not place a troll order for me.
They are probably going to copy my trades too.

If a FX broker were to take the trades of a winning trader much smarter than them with big volumes and ruin his entries and exits they know he would end up self destructing his account and open a big position somewhere else to dump on them?

I don't even wa nt to start making money I am too afraid someone finds out my trading formula details. That's my get out of jail free card, not sharing.

Self reminder: Take some (hedged obviously) losses on purpose from time to time.
Close some winners by opening the opposite position on another broker.
Write all this in my numbers excel file. Go back and forth between 2 accounts each trade I randomly decide on which one I win it on which one I close...
If I want to go long 2 lots go long 3 lots 1 account (winner) and go short 1 lot on another account... Do this when I have the time at least from time to time.
And sometimes straight up troll trade same size both accounts.
Try to find out how their system works...

And then...

The min balance is 25.000£ but idk doesn't make sense trading via a bank with an poor loser account that is not 8 figures... idk.

No leverage with banks too or I missed something.

Gosh this is just so anoying.

Waves platform to the moon.
We need a decentralized anonymous trading platform.

ECN broker maybe? That is regulated and does not have the possibility to see the trades made by its clients.

Ok time to look back.

What happened with that little account...

What I expected to happen ("Summer inactivity is a myth there is still volume" I believed that...):

What actually happened:

Damn this is terrible.

I worked alot on research anyway, so I will perform better when activity resumes.

Summer, good time to pick trending stocks and invest for 3 months in them, while you go do nothing on an island or something.

I have made nearly nothing in crypto too.
And took losses in stocks :)

If I make progress with my system and database and custom indicators and it gets easy and quick to find good setups and trade and I trade optimally, it is a win.

If I don't end up with crippling depression and erode my trading accounts, it is a win.

How do other people survive?
Ok tbh they were some opportunities, but 1/10th of the usual and not in the major pairs and big commodities we watch, rather in foreign currencies I did not even know existed stuff like that, and I missed them lol.

oooooh so close to ultimate victory but I have to wait...

I know everything I can make loads.
But right as I made my dicoveries these lazy nerds in wall street go on vacation.
