BTC is not Bitcoin

Short
BITSTAMP:BTCUSD   Bitcoin
The nature of Bitcoin is such that after the release of version 0.1 its core was carved in stone until the end of its existence. Here's how it was modified over the years since the beginning of Bitcoin and created completely different projects that depart from the original vision of its creator. BCH is created in 2017, saving the original protocol from irreversible change (Segwit). After this update, BTC doesn't have much in common with real Bitcoin. BSV is being created in 2018 to protect the original protocol from further code changes, this time at BCH. Now in 2020, BSV restores the original properties of Bitcoin and continues the vision started in 2008. BTC developers have blocked most of the designed Bitcoin functions. Satoshi wrote in 2010:

''The design supports a tremendous variety of possible transaction types that I designed years ago. Escrow transactions, bonded contracts, third party arbitration, multi-party signature, etc. If Bitcoin catches on in a big way, these are things we'll want to explore in the future, but they all had to be designed at the beginning to make sure they would be possible later.''

Craig Wright, the creator of BSV and probably also Bitcoin is going to start a legal fight for copyrights to the BTC and BCH database. Craig believes that these designs are based on the original Bitcoin without authorization. It is likely that Wright will seek a court order that BTC should not use the Bitcoin name and be listed as Segwit Coin on the exchanges.
