DeepWeb portfolio moves 60 thousand bitcoin

Silk Road may be dead, but the wallets seem to be alive. More than a billion dollars in Bitcoin are being transferred from various portfolios linked to the original portfolio.

The Reddit user, sick_silk, caught the eye of the public after posting all his research on Silk Road activity over the last three days. It turns out that who owns the 60,000 coins - worth about $ 422 million - is moving them quickly to multiple addresses, each bearing today with exactly 100 coins.

In the beginning, the process took several steps, each creating a new Bitcoin portfolio and dividing the coins into two groups of 30,000, three groups of 20,000 and so on. The divisions were deliberately made in a staggered way that lasted four years, indicating that this is not the job of someone inexperienced in moving large amounts of money without arousing suspicion.

Besides, it does not look like the portfolio is controlled by the FBI. Although the organization managed to confiscate a considerable portfolio from the old site, it was not the only black market address.

It seems that the wallet that originated all those lots of 100 coins (1933phfhK3ZgFQNLGSDXvqCn32k2buXY8a) is not known by the FBI.

This is supported by the fact that Ross Ulbricht, the person who was actually convicted of creating the Silk Road site, was not the only person who ever ran the site. Others, who may have been more adept at fleeing the FBI, may have control of that particular portfolio.

Whatever it is, it is doubtful that the FBI is involved, since a government institution would have no reason to split coins and move them in such a deliberate and confusing way.
