Here is a brief showcase utilizing rays to visually identify trends and key breakpoints. Moving averages (and keltner channels) are typically better for this kind of analysis, but rays are useful for the extension to the future based on the current trend.

I have found that BTC especially conforms to more basic analysis like MA and rays so this may not apply as well to other securities.
