China brokers confirm closing

BITSTAMP:BTCUSD   Bitcoin
The main press releases this Friday were from brokers Huobi and OKCoin, who said they were able to negotiate with the People's Bank of China (PBoC) and will keep operations until the end of October, due to the size of the operations they support and also the fact not having been involved in the listing of tokens related to the Initial Cryptomoedas Offers (ICOs).

The China BTCC brokerage, which makes up the trio of major Chinese exchanges, will be open until the end of September. However, all three companies will no longer accept yuan deposits as of today.

In addition to these companies, ViaBTC and Yunbi will also close the doors.

China currently accounts for about 14 percent of the world's total bitcoin trade volume, according to data from BraveNewCoin.
