The Reset --- Bitcoin --- What Next?
So I'm still in my positional short of Bitcoin, I've been shorting since 58.5k and have held my short since early April. That's an amazing 6 weeks now :) I've found positional trading to be a nice break from active short term trading. Short term trading is more profitable, but it gets a little draining after a while. So one way to recharge the batteries is to hold a positional trade and get some exercise. Bitcoin has held on for longer than expected, which was surprising, but no biggie since I focused on exercise, eating well, and drinking fine wines.
I've been focused getting my materials ready for the Reset. Just paid for 1000 Euros of French wine. Got spare parts for my mountain biking hobby. Bought gin and whiskey, also 6 litres of baileys. Stacked 26 kilos of premium coffee and other cool stuff this week.
Ok, apart from my personal preps, what has happened in those 6 weeks? Well, the periphery is actively collapsing, and by this weekend the lights should go out in several cities. Most borders are closed to travellers, and lockdowns are spreading! Yes, there's no real opening up buys and girls, not internationally anyway. Local areas in Europe, Russia and China should reopen (or remain open) to a degree---since they're in quite a strong position----but make no mistake, international travel will be strongly curtailed and avoided in 2021 (by those that know what's coming.)
North America has significant shortages of real goods, and this phenomenon is getting worse: As more exporters go dark.
Now is the time to buy imported commodities: gas, coffee, teas, oils, rubbers etc. As they may hyperinflate going forward. The financial hyperinflation is over (for now) and real goods will become harder to come by. The Nasqad and equities look to have peaked. And Elon Musk, that jerk, just signalled the end of this crypto bull market. As such, my short target has become more aggressive, and now I'm aiming for 31k. I don't see 40k holding, 31k should hold for a while. Equities should be weak going forward as the collapse gathers pace and USA corporates are threatened by scarcity.
