Here is something I always look for;

A trend line crossing a fib, and being tested below the fib before the crossing and above it after. Good sign that the trendline is the real support, not just the fib, and that support has moved up higher.

So our buy signal should be: a breakout of the downward trendline, but we can wait for confirmation if it breaks above the fib, and then either breaks through the next upward trendline, or touches it to corrent and find support either at a moving average or the 0.382 fib.
