Eth bullish future?

Used some key fib lines for predicting possible turning points in ethereums rise. I'm a noob, so just a random scribbling still.

Considering the very potential technology behind ethereum             , I could see this thing going very high in the future. Holding might be the best option, or trading in high TF if you're not experienced for better gains.

Why bullish?:

- Reuters & TD             bank in Toronto looking for experts in blockchain technology, mentioning only ethereum             .

-As Vitalik himself said, bitcoin             is a basic calculator, good at only one thing while ethereum             is a smartphone with great OS that offers approachable platform to develop all kinds of apps for for masses!

-Bitcoin has had it's moment in the spotlight, people know about it but don't care. Still waiting for the killerapp, surely they'll deliver(?)

-Vitalik, do I need to say more? Interested in bettering the mankind, is he the son of god? Hero we don't deserve but need? We need Musk and Vitalik to put their brave and smart heads together and maybe humanity can be saved from blind greed of capitalism.

-The overall attitude in ethereum             camp compared to bitcoins             which seems to be in civil war is very positive.

- Ipo investors are true hodlers are believe in the future of ethereum

-Bitcoin is shady, main use is the drugmarkets while ethereum             couldn't be more of the opposite.

-People remember the lunatic rise of the bitcoin             and see this as their second chance of that pie.

-mining very centralized in bitcoin             , this was not the vision of Satoshi.

-bitcoin development hijacked by 3rd party for their own profit(?) Adam Back, who seems to be so full of himself, didn't believe in the bitcoin             , bought in triple digits and claims to be a main reason bitcoin             exists (hashcoin), some humility would be welcome.
What do you think is a fair market value of ETH? in dollar terms. At around 80 dollar, it's market cap is going to be the same as BTC.

This is something that is very hard to guess or calculate because there is so much unclear about the future use cases. But you have to remember that at the moment you can't use eth for much really, but this is changing fast.
you need to redo this chart!

Thanks for your vote of support, I'll start making more soon enough.
Also, You've got unlimited ether that will exist. So therefore there will be artificial inflation right? All the things ether is bitcoin can also be that right?
igster nepaldude41
Yes, there will be inflation for ethereum. But, the inflation right now is lower than what bitcoin had in it's beginning years, also the inflation in pos is yet undecided but the numbers from Vitalik is 0-5%. Now I'm no expert, but I guess the demand could offset this inflation and we have to remember people lose their crypto all the time. I for one lost 1 ethereum when I installed my windows and many have lost their private keys. Eventually, without inflation there would be 1 ethereum left because humans make mistakes all the time. Also gold has inflation. And I'm not sure bitcoin could do everything ethereum can, maybe with the help of rootstock, but this is something Vitalik tried and decided that it was better to make a new blockchain.

What is the justified price of ether, in 10 years we'll probably find out, but the markets are just starting to aknowledge ethereum and the prices reflect that when the market cap is so low still.

Also what is one difference with ethereum to bitcoin, even if bitcoin could do the same as eth, is that it is way easier for people to start developing on ethereum. Just like the calculator and smartphone. I could start developing apps on android right now for everyone to use but what is there to implement to calculus and how?
Very interesting! I wonder though if Ether might still struggle with the same scalability issues as bitcoin. There is no way this thing is going to scale at 7 transactions/sec. Any insight into that would be appreciated.
igster nepaldude41
Ethereum has made it to 25tx/sec in the testnet, if I remember correctly. Also there are talks of advanced techniques like sharding which could make ethereum possible of hitting over 2000 tx/sec, but these would be implemented after serenity, I think. This is what I've read, but nothing is set in stone and I should do more research on it also.
+Using scales makes your charts wonky.
