The bollinger band w strategy is one of the strategies by the great John bollinger as his strategies aims to take advantage of volatility shifts. Betting that these shift will lead to a measure move , and can provide scalping n mid term opportunities with psychological stacked possibilities that will be layer out here
Is it effective? Yes! It’s a strategy with high possibility. You can storms charts n just look for what is presented n you’ll have a good system.
He also use a volume based indicator as well for confirmation at the lows that is excluded here for simplicity.
1. A close outside the lower band
2. A move up from one that reaches the lower band but close inside the band unlike 1
3. A move up to the mid ma
4. A move back to the lower band that does not close outside the band
5. A divergence on the b% from 1 to 3
6. A failure swing ( this isn’t within his method but it often accompany the move)
7. Target the upper band. With a possible of it expanding.
Yet seller may inhibit that 7 as we mention maybe a month ago and we forecasted this whole thing way before this strategy material just from our psychology as proof how effective it is
