http://zerohedge.talking-forex.com/live.html it is a five minitue delayed free news feed. a daily read through this news feed in comparison to price movement would give an understanding of reason for momentum
Paid version is 20GBP/ month. Weakness in GBPJPY is a mixture of Brexit fear and JPY strength (across all JPY pairs).

I am avoiding GBP pairs basically till june 23rd due to low liquidity and high volatility. I suggest you to close trades on a daily basis or move stop to breakeven once your initial target is reached.
Exit poll results and the political comments are the driving force across all GBP pairs.
Just a suggestion; please use your own analysis before taking a trade.

Thanks

Hello sir! I have a question regarding ichimoku on multiple timeframes. As you can see in the example the 4h chart shows me a picture: rejection in the seelling zone and continue downwards. but the 1H tells me the opposite story. Should I just focus on one TF? How do you deal with this "divergence"? Thank you :)

When i trade I have everything I need on one TF so i do not look at another
If I want to analyze the market hypothetically, I look at multiple TF

So for trading, stick to ONLY ONE TF

Hi, in fact the 60HRS TF the SSB show it's a resistance level and CS yet to break through the cloud.

the way you deal with it is by not using ichimoku. period. your 2 charts are a perfect illustration about how this indicator as well as all MAs do not capture a universal invariant about the current market structure that is true across all TFs. this is why such indicators generate contradictions across different TFs. one indicator that is immune from this: Bollinger Bands. or the indicators i developed and which do not use MAs. therefore, i always say, develop your own. or use John Ehlers's and Bollinger Bands since they are the best when compared to the rest.

Hasn't taken the time to understand your system clearly. If they had they would know how silly they sound because when you change time frames with this system your are looking at different timeframes on everything. The one hour shows the 1 hr, 4 hr and 15 min where as the 4hr would show the 4hr daily and 1 hr correct?

hi, Im following you for a while but to be honest i still haven't a clear view of the Panoptic trading method
Of course i have studied all charts under the educational tab but somehow the global picture is not clear.
What are the differences with traditional ichimoku?
is there a basic set of knowledge/rules/principles etc. available ?
thanks for your help, time and numerous postings!

hi

ok. thank you for taking time to study the material

I can now think of 2 scenarios:
1. u r not familiar with traditional ichimoku so you should not worry about the differences
2. u r familiar with traditional ichimoku in which case the differences should be very clear

Anyway, tell me how I can help you and I'll be more than happy to do so
good luck

yep i'm familiar with ichimoku but not an expert.
have been trading e-mini futures for over 10 years and i think i have reached the last page on internet about styles/methods/indicators etc. :)
Stil not found my edge.
currently Im trying to improve my ichi skills
in the meanwhile im also trying to understand the Panoptic style.
maybe that's not a good combi ....
i think i need someone that can lead me to the correct path...

12 days ago. you sait that.

"It has nothing to do with any trend line
The critical level is many things and its definition depends on the market context

CL is derived from 3 main concepts that I work with:
1. APL (Active Pivot Line)
2. Twaves (Time waves)
3. Pwaves (Price waves)

CL has a static and a dynamic perspective.
For you guys, consider the highs and lows of the KS as your CL. That will give you great success.
My way is a bit more optimized "

Hope not be late: june has finished :-).
I noticed that you have not described the importance of SSA. Do you think it is not important (except for the kumo)? Do you consider it provides informations of a time harmonic in the middle of those described by the TS and KS? Any other suggestion on how to obtain informations by the SSA?
Thanks and again my best compliments for your tireless work: you've improved my understanding of Ichi a lot.

Ichimoku_Trader Braintrnsplant

SSA is important off course. I mainly use it as follows:
1. To confirm TS signals
2. As the pullback line of breakout trades
3. and off course as an important part of the kumo and all it does

Good luck

Another important aspect (at least for me): you mentioned time (and price) waves. I'm really interested to these aspects: have you already addressed these topics? Where could I find informations? It is quite difficult to obtain suggestions on these topics but they seem an integral part of your panoptic method.

I call them Twaves and Pwaves and they are 2 concepts that I have developed but not yet published
They are the foundation of the PanOptic method but I have integrated about 80% of what they do into the ichimoku elements
So you will be fine without them but they provide a deeper understanding of what is happening and what to expect

Good luck
