Hi Traders,

Please find below three basic trading strategy's that can be implemented to any market on a daily basis.

I have only given out basic information on the ratio's and fibonacci's of the two strategy's, should you need anymore in depth information don't hesitate to contact me.

ABCD Rules Of Engagement:
1. Point C must retrace to a 0.618 of the A - B move
2. Point D must be a 1.272 projection of the B - C move
3. Buy/Sell at the D leg completion.

Three -Drive Rules Of Engagement:
1. Point A should be the 0.618 retracement of drive 1
2 Point B should be the 0.618 retracement of drive 2
3. Drive 3 should be the 1.272 extension of the B correction

the bearish ones look bullish to me and vice versa....

If for example you have a bullish channel, you are looking to get short at the top of the channel which is why you look for a D leg completion and a 1.272 projection before getting short.
I hope that helps a little more.

The ABCD is basically a four legged Elliot wave, so you would expect the fifth leg to correct the previous extension. These golden ratios are just nice because they can confirm the accuracy of the wave.

These basic setups are aimed at new traders.
Sometimes excessive lines and candles sticks can be confusing to a new trader,
which is why they have been drawn as opposed to placed on a live chart.

They certainly can yes.
I would advice you to begin trading on a demo account before implementing any strategy into your trade plan.

Never used these patterns to trade but use them as a way to provide additional evidence to support my case for entry....
Thanks for that....I wasnt sure where you would place targets for these sorts of patterns
Cheers

Hi Tom hope you're having a great weekend, the candle close on these points play any importance to these rules at all.

when you say 0.618 does it mean 61.8% of the rise in price from point A to point B?
etc etc?
