Be Positive..Be Social

I much appreciate the support i have seen from a lot of people. Positive feedback and constructive comments on the trades I publish. This attitude makes this website a valuable destination, where people can get at least one good advise and could learn from other traders way of thinking and even mistakes.

Being able to see traders publish their forecasts and trades is priceless. Because it gives the viewer the opportunity to see how things develop in the market, how tricky it can be.
How a good trade can end bad, and how a trade that was few pips close to stop loss went the other way to reach target.

You can know that the trading is not just forecasting the direction. Its about choosing when to enter and exit. Otherwise, the forecast is not converted to real money.

The benefits of publishing trades is endless. And its totally free and social here. So Is there is any need to bash or criticize others trades? I don't see any benefit for that. I see that this is against the main goal of tradingview, which is sharing the knowledge.

Respect

Maybe it is a scapegoating problem at its core

Or you could say in this context:

"Unwanted thoughts and feelings (due to bad trades) can be unconsciously projected onto another who becomes a scapegoat for one's own problems (recent bad trades)."

:) . Its really annoying. I am getting used to it though. But we don't want this in tradingview. Positivity is a virtue. I also see that some are doing this as a campaign.

Your journey to 100 trades is as honest and realistic as it gets here on TradingView. Full details are provided on stops, targets, trade management, risk and money management, position size, account balance, capital gained / lost per trade. The initiative has a huge educational value for those members who want to follow a full trading experience and not just be presented with some lines and arrows on a chart. It takes courage and mental strength to trade in public like this and you have that strength and do it for free, to the benefit of all who want to follow it. I respect that a lot. Please note, that the most critical voices often belong to members with the least amount of publications to their name. To them I would say: "Don’t spend your time picking on trade ideas of others and reveling in the lost trades of fellow members; spend it on publishing awesome ideas yourself. That way you might actually add some value to the community." Good luck Technician, on to the next trade!

Technician, you are well respected and appreciated for all the hard work you put in here. Publishing charts...especially ones as well-researched and educational as yours, I know is not easy to do. Anyone can throw up a chart and say "I think it's gonna do this or do that" in less than a minute. But what you do, and what some other great posters do here to try to explain, and educate is what makes this place so great. Tradingview is not meant to be a signal service. It's meant to be a place where all can come together and collaborate, teach and learn to hopefully all make money!

People that are negative are just jealous of your success/ popularity. They are dispirit for it and only post on your losing trade to draw attention to them self's.
Im sure your aware of this. They use your post because it has a high amount of view's. I wouldn't take it personally but can understand the annoyance.
Totally agree forecasting is very easy especially when you have one for up and down. trading is much more challenging.

Hi Technician, it is common human flaw, in that sometimes individuals tend to rubbish other's analysis, or a form of analytical approach even though it might have been well established and widely used with good success. No one method or approach ever gives 100% accuracy as every sensible analyst and professional know only too well.

So why do some fall in to this common human flaw and resort to bash others approach or analysis? Simply they seek to gain popularity or attention by such exercise and resulting controversy.

However, it is also very clear that a professional individual resorting to such tactics are really drawing attention to their lack of confidence in themselves of achieving a better and more desired outcome by being positive rather than attacking and rubbishing someone or a form of analysis.

In fact, I would say it is highly unsuitable for a real professional to engage in such mocking behavior as by doing so they betrays their lack of sense of fairness to put it very politely.

I would ignore those behaving in such unreasonable manner and continue with your really positive and valuable contribution to Tradingview community (both experienced and new traders).

Really appreciate work. Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate your feedback mates. I just want to say that i didn't intend to make this personal to me, I am criticizing this behavior generally, either its against me or against anyone else. It is just useless and what it can do is only harm not benefit.
I would repeat Jasper words and say to those kind of people: If you are good enough, just publish you trades and stop abusing others.

Yes indeed, no need to troll others who have different views on the market than you..! no-one is perfect and no-one gets it right 100% of the time!
We all share our ideas to help the community see what we see through our own eyes - and in doing so it often helps us trade better ourselves

Wish you all good trading..!

Hi Tech,
We are Learning daily from you.
Set and Leave the trade is Good. But in case things around us are changing, I feel, you can consider Closing the Trades, without incurring heavy Losses.
After every Loss trade,if you could Comment, what went wrong would be helpful for Correcting in Future.

Well said Technician, your charts and commentary not only describe the idea, but what set's you and other great contributers apart on tradingview is that your charts educate others in how to interpret the chart and the price action, even if your style differs, another perspective is why tradingview.com is such a powerful resource....Mate, I would be flattered if I received even 1/2 of those ugly comments,......Good Karma to you

Sincerely,

TIK

Yes, thank you, this is an incredible website. I have felt bad for you when stopped out on trades. But those bad trades have been very helpful to me (a novice trader); to not be so hard on myself when I see someone such as yourself (a much more experienced trader) get tossed around. And it takes a lot of guts to put something on the boards for all of us to see with real money at risk!!! I look forward to seeing more of your trades on Tradingview and I sincerely hope you do well. Much thanks

While the benefits to being 'social' (and not socialist) are many, sharing opinions based on fallacies does no one any good. A case in point...the U.S. SEC has recently started eyeing banks and other institutions who fronted wonky charting and trading software to FX brokerages around the world, keeping the users out of position or poorly positioned, while in return those brokerages received financial payment. Who is really to say that any internet site, supposedly offering the individual a social site based on trading/charting....is not in reality proffering a group of brokerages/banks further insight into the minds of individuals traders...or merely reinforcing errant/disproven views of technical analysis further conditioning "the herd" into error? Who is to say paid 'touts' are not as active here as elsewhere in the market cosmos?

One thing to be always aware of...qui bono? Who would benefit most from an individual broadly sharing a unique view of the markets and winning off said? Individual traders, or those who front for major groups looking to backwards engineer the unique view and steal the individuals lunch? Someone always benefits from another man 'sharing'.

This is far more important than anyone's assumed wrangling over mere opinion in the market.

So , from what I understand you teke under consideration the fact that some or all of the leading traders ( teh ones with the most followers ) are somehow paid by the banks to post wrong or incomplete information in order to mahe the followers to lose theyr money in transactions. It may be so .. althought I don't think so. Just consider that every each and one of us maybe use a different broker, small or big , with a different bank also small or big, on different continents so on and so forth. This is a open site ( just one of many ) and everyone , anywhere can view the content, so in order to someone control the way you sugest it does, looks beyond any conspiracy theory . I agree that there is a level of hidden control over some part of the market but not in the way you sugest.
Anyway, everybody has the right to have a opinion but is offending and rude to acuse someone of being paid for posting, without any prof.
I don't consider myself being part of any "herd"...

Many a true word said Technician. And the markets can be a battlefield at times and it is very helpful you putting yourself 'out there' with the trades and transparency. Re: "..the need to bash or critcize others trades"... 'constructive criticism' is a far better way to go for everyone!
