NASDAQ:FCEL   FuelCell Energy, Inc.
Remember a while back I said all speculative money losing stocks will do a slow decay and eventually wind up at book value? I posted BLDP and FCEL stock back then....

So here we are, tangible book value $646M, market cap now $880M. Looks like it's headed under $2.

No position, just wanted to say I was right, lol. Unfortunately this one is too hard to predict on a day by day basis, so I didn't trade it much.

Comment:
Note: They sold some stock during the runup, so their book value is higher than it was before the spike. They can't make money on their operations, but they certainly know how to raise capital, lol. Really a smart move.
Comment:
I might actually be tempted to buy some if it hits $ 2 , it is oversold on the daily
Comment:
This is where I say "I told you so"

Under 2 , I've decided not to touch this. The problem is they don't make any money, they never have, so the best you can hope for is a short squeeze, and that's hard to time.

If you buy here and pay attention to the market every day, it's bound to pop up eventually. No idea when, could be tomorrow, could be next month, could be a year from now.
Comment:
under 2 dollars. I hate that this website changes the dollar sign to a hong Kong stock, lol.
Comment:
$785M market cap, 646 book. $1.93 now, so book is $1.59.

It left an open gap down this morning, and this does tend to fill gaps. Daily indicators oversold, but wait until NDX daily indicators go oversold to buy.

It'd have to get closer to book value before I consider it.
Comment:
$646M book, I swear.... stupid website
Comment:
My short term NQ indicator says buy.... but market gap direction will depend on MSFT and GOOG earnings tonight
Comment:
If you look at the chart, FCEL retraces about 50% after each drop, so $ 3 is a possibility here, don't see it going up much further than that without real "news".
Comment:
Appears that the market has lost appetite for garbage stocks, can't recommend buying FCEL at all.

Really no room to short it either. Dead play.
Comment:
Popped up today on Exxon news. Not chasing it.

Really no way to predict news releases....
