CLOSED TRADE: GBPUSD: Sell@1.53200 SL Hit (-44 pips)

FX:GBPUSD   British Pound/U.S. Dollar
716 11 23
Stops were hit on this trade for a loss of -44 pips. This is the 2nd loss in a row for me on this pair. So maybe I am looking at this pair all wrong. I'll need to sit back and -reanalyze it with some fresh pair of eyes and will do that over the weekend. Every losing trade tells me something and if I read the messages correctly, each losing trade will bring me closer to a winning trade.

*NOTE: I've been getting many PM's lately asking me "why I am losing lately?" Such messages will be IGNORED because anyone who asks such a question does not understand the nature of TRADING. Such a question is not a question about TRADING and I do not need to and cannot answer such a question. I am NOT ONE BIT concerned about losing a few trades. It is all part of TRADING. Nobody trades without losing trades! What's important is what you LEARN from losing trades. For those people, please READ my DISCLAIMER below and also the standard FTC             disclaimer about trading found on every broker's site!

Please keep in mind that I am not giving any trading signals or trade calls here. Only providing my own trade thoughts for your benefit and insight as to my trading technique and style. Please don't ask if you should or should not take the trade or ask for stop loss and take profit levels. Any SL or TP given on my trades are my own I have used for my trade and are not recommendations for you to use. If you are not sure, then you do not have a trading plan for yourself in place. I suggest you make one before you continue to do any trading!

All analysis showed sell at that level. trading id trading. Even on NZD/USD and AUD/USD I have taken losses yet Technically they shout sell. I remember August 24th as proof markets can be irrational. Losses are real and guaranteed. But we shall make profit again.

actually the translation would be "Shoulder line" but neck line is ok, too, I guess.

on the 240m - was a 'perfect Elliott 1-2-3-4 pullback and 5 retrace (4 & 5 happening very quickly yesterday - Thurs). Followed by a fairly tight ABC this morning. was a nice couple of days trading

Good for you if you made pips! But next time, it'd be nice if you were to post charts showing your trades beforehand so that the rest of us can benefit from your analysis.

Understood and, apologies for just launching in. I should say I only joined this site last night (at the point of posting). I work full-time so have to squeeze in the higher time frames usually and only started to add harmonics to my knowledge-base this past week after listening to a Jason Stapleton and Akil podcast. Then discovered "here".
I am a big Elliott and fib fan (hence attraction of harmonics). Your chart highlights the perfect 76.4 wave-2 retrace, 3 etc.

I'm always looking for your ideas.
I like your analysis and no matter whether they win or lose.
